The Baltimore County Bar Association and the Section of Judicial Administration of the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., joined forces on April 10 this year to honor new Baltimore County Circuit Court Administrative Judge Kathleen Gallogly Cox.
BCBA President Judge Philip Tirabassi introduced Chief Judge Mary Ellen Barbera of the Court of Appeals of Maryland, who spoke about the accomplishments of Judge Cox and welcomed her to her new position. Judge Cox spoke about her enthusiasm for her new role as Administrative Judge for Baltimore County and the Third Judicial Circuit and her plans to support and improve the administration of the courts.
More than 200 guests attended the reception at the Towson Golf & Country Club, compliments of law firm sponsors Adelberg, Rudow, Dorf & Hendler; Bodie, Dolina, Hobbs, Friddell & Grenzer; Heisler, Williams & Lazzaro; Law Offices of Peter G. The enthusiasm for Judge Cox’s appointment was evident. Judge Tirabassi closed the program and added that a donation would be made in Judge Cox’s honor to the Baltimore County Bar Foundation.
