VCR Rental through the Baltimore County Bar Association

Cost & Payment Procedure:

$50.00 per day. Deposit required prior to confirmation of reservation. Reservation is on a first come first serve basis.

Members will continue to use the equipment free of charge for the first day, but for any additional days will be required to pay $50.00 per day and submit the $50.00 deposit fee.

It is a requirement that the attorney renting the equipment should be the attorney trying the case and is a member. Just because someone in the firm is a BCBA member is does not mean that the rental is free.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If cancellation occurs within one week before the reserved date, a full refund will be given. If cancellation occurs within one week but before 48 hours of the reserved date, ½ refund will be given. There is no refund if cancellation occurs within 48 hours.

The required deposit for the first day in the amount of $50.00 will be returned to members if the equipment is returned at the end of the day. Otherwise it is forfeited.

Members and non-members alike are required to return the equipment at the end of each day.

If you finish past 4:30 p.m., the guards will put the equipment in the Bar Office for you, so there is no reason not to return it on a daily basis, even if you have rented it for more than one day.

Note – a non-member could join the Baltimore County Bar Association by paying the yearly dues in the amount of $115.00 and save the first day rental fee.

* This has become necessary because the equipment, at times, has been reserved for several days or longer and then not used. Other attorneys have been unable to use it because of this.
