President Archives Weather Policy
Weather Policy
We have an addition to The Advocate
this month. It is the "Weather Policy" on the back
page. Expanding on it, the Continuing Legal Education Programs,
Bench/Bar Committee meetings, Stated Meetings, Swearing-in
Reception for new attorneys and any other BCBA committee meetings
or programs held in the County Courts Building will automatically
be canceled if the public schools in Baltimore County have
a delayed opening.
Exceptions:
The Annual Black-tie Banquet
- Martin's West would have to close to cancel this event.
Young Lawyers Luncheons
and Committee Dinner Meetings - contact the individual
chair to find out the policy.
Bull Roast - will
take place unless the Towson American Legion Hall closes.
Bowling - if in
doubt, call Hillendale Bowling Center, but we won't cancel
unless they close.
Golf Outings -
no need for a rainy day call on this because golfers show
up "no matter what" and expect the skies to clear.
Hopefully, our "Weather Policy"
will not be needed, but if the weather turns bad, please keep
it and refer to it.
As always, if you have any questions, please
call the Bar Office.
