Judith P. Ritchey Award

Jay D. Miller, Esquire, most deservingly, was awarded the 2005 Judith P. Ritchey Award. Jay Chairs the Lawyer Assistance Program for the BCBA, a Committee that conducts its work with very protected confidentiality. The LAP works with attorneys to enhance the quality of life in the Baltimore County legal community by delivering education and assistance on mental/emotional, drug, alcohol, family, health and other personal and/or health problems. As Jay so eloquently described the Committee's successes, "they are among you." Many, many thanks to Jay and the Committee for their tireless efforts on behalf of those attorneys who find themselves in the position of needing assistance.
