Law Day Art & Essay Contest

 
A Legacy of Liberty, Celebrating Lincoln's Bicentennial
Law Day -  May 1, 2009
 
The Baltimore County Bar Association 2009 Law Day Art and Essay Contests are open to any Baltimore County public or private school student, or any student of a current BCBA Member.

Prizes are awarded to students from Kindergarten through 12th grade, as well as a monetary incentive award to the art teacher who submits the most pieces.
 
All artwork is displayed in the County Courts Building lobby area, 401 Bosley Avenue, Towson. Winning pieces are then framed and displayed throughout the courthouse until next year's contest.

Prizes are awarded to high school students for first, second and third place.
 
The first-place winning essay entry is read by the student at the noon ceremonies on May 1, 2009 in the courtyard plaza between the Old Courthouse and County Courts Building.
 
 
All students, teachers, parents and families are invited to celebrate
Law Day at the noon ceremonies.
